What is Little Dog Syndrome? Why are some dogs so small? Do small dogs have poor size perception or just hyper sensitivity to their environment? Does your depth perception be affected by size?
Easy To Carry
Do small dogs live together with their owners as a puppy? This is something that many new dog owners wonder about. Some people think that Chihuahuas and teacups or other small dogs can just live together. They seem to think that these little dogs can not handle the weight of their owner or the closeness of the home, but they grow up and get used to being in those environments. I am going to tell you why some people believe that little dogs live together with their owners and others do not.
Little dogs live together with their owners because they are cute. That is not true here though. Chihuahuas and other small breeds can be quite active, so if you have a Chihuahua and a puppy, you are going to have some very active dogs living with you. There is a simple solution to this problem.
Small Dogs Problems – Depth Perception
The problem with what is little dog syndrome is that small dogs can have problems with their depth perception. Chihuahuas, Tervis, and any other small breed of dog have a problem with this problem. When they are playing with their human friends, they often can not tell if they are too close to another person or too far away. This is a pretty big problem and one that should be corrected as soon as possible.
Dogs Become Aggressive Or Fearful
Another problem with small dogs is that they can become aggressive or fearful very quickly. They either do this because of the people they like, people they don’t like, or simply because they are afraid. They can either become very submissive or very aggressive. Usually, when they display these behaviors, they are in pain and have low amounts of energy.
In order for you to know what little dog syndrome is, you need to understand why these issues arise. The most common reason is because the dog does not like being too close to the person. He/She wants to be on the edge but is too afraid to do so. So, the dog will push the person away. This can happen if the person is taller than the dog, or if the dog is much larger than the person, since large dogs cannot intimidate smaller ones.
It is very important for you to understand what little dog syndrome is since this can cause you a lot of problems in the future. If your pet has little aggressive behavior, then he/she needs to be properly socialized. There are many ways to accomplish this, such as obedience classes, training, and going to live-in classes with other pets. Once your pet is properly socialized, then you can eliminate the aggressive behavior. Once this problem is eliminated, you can enjoy all the benefits of having a cute little fur ball who is cuddling up next to you and snuggling up to you while you watch television.
